Mission
The station aims at serving the farming community in Kuttanad and deals with research on rice in Kuttanad ecosystem. A unit of All India Co-ordinated Rice Improvement Programme is functioning here. The station also aims at evolving eco friendly and low cost production technologies for Kuttanad through appropriate soil and plant health management practices and biological control of pests and diseases of rice.
